•        I’m found to present  the annual event M’illumino di meno in Italy. It is an initiative endorsed by Caterpillar, a Radio 2 program, one of the largest Italian public radio stations, and established 8 years ago, aiming to sensitize people awareness on reducing energy consumption. The name M’illumino di meno literally means “I light myself less” – it is actually referring to a famous Italian poem M’illumino d’immenso written by Giuseppe Ungaretti in 1917. Today this initiative involves many municipality mayors, city councils, corporations, cultural associations, schools, shops and a large number of families and people who organized themselves buzzing on social networks. I think this campaign is amazing, as it raises sustainable energy consuption counsciousness enhancing individuals’ creative attitude, all in a joyful and fun sorrounding thanks to very popular Radio 2.

• Listen to the event official song – chosen by a music contest called for the occasion

• Have a look at some of the posters – in Italian

• Partecipate! Light up your dinner with candles and shut down your computer one hour before!
